Honest, non pushy sales

Purchased a new car from Chobham today and was looked after by Steve. Car was ready and waiting for me when I arrived and Steve gave me the keys and left me to it. No sales patter, no hard sell, just have a look, take it for a spin and let me know if you have questions. Very fair negotiation when I asked for a discount to sort some minor cosmetic issues. When I got back from a test drive, I wasn't mobbed, Steve just waited patiently for me to come and ask any questions. No pressure to make a decision then and there. Picking the car up next week and looking forward to dealing with them again. You can see why they have repeat customers and have been in business for so long

I travelled from Brighton to buy a car from Peter based upon the strength of his reputation over so many years. He is as fair and honest as you could ever hope, hes not at all your stereotypical car sales man and missed his vocation as a Buddhist, he really is an awesome guy. The office has two other people that have been working by his side for 28yrs that were equally lovely. He could of squeezed me on a PX as I had already insured the new car and he knew was taking it but he was more than fair when it came to the PX price and gave me what I probably would of gotten private. Even his mechanics were awesome and worked through their lunch to go the extra mile and put on a new MOT and service. He gave me a three month warranty as standard and even lent me £20 cash for some petrol after I had card trouble.

The car is a dream, even better than described.

Rang Peter at Chobham Motor Company, enquiring about a BMW 530d he had for sale.. he sent loads of photos and a couple of walk round videos that more or less answered my questions. Peter accurately described the car, openly saying the rears were about 3mm, legal, but in my view a bit short on wear. Due to my living up in Bolton, I asked if he'd discount a bit for them, which he agreed over the phone.... we more or less did the deal unseen, although I offered a deposit, that he Said was not necessary as he promised to save me first refusal the next day, and, due to my error of travel the next day (don't get off at Longcross railway station...!) he picked me up in the car and drove me back to the showroom, gave me the keys and said I could take as long as i wanted to check it out.... Thing is... I'd already made my mind up I wanted it, he was such a genuine bloke.... it really is a dream this car.... and what an enjoyable, easy experience from start to finish... thank you.

I need to sort out a car for my 88 year old mum quickly.i found one on CMC's website.I called Peter,the owner, and discussed my situation.I went in the next day saw the car drove the car and shook on a deal.It had a 6 months MOT but Peter said ,as I need the car quickly,he would MOT and service it so I could pick it up today. He kept me in the loop and I picked up the car and delivered it to mum earlier.Amazing service from an absolute gentleman.....................thanks Peter...............

An honest garage

Known this garage for at least twelve. I have bought three cars in that time from them and the cars have all ben serviced during that period and I have been extremely pleased on all occasions
